Meet Erin
I am an art therapist and child centred play therapist situated in Doreen within Melbourne's outer northern suburbs. I use person-centered approaches, combining therapeutic methods to facilitate clients in attaining their goals.
Drawing upon my background as a paramedic, I possess comprehensive expertise in addressing chronic and acute illnesses. This professional background affords me a specific nuanced comprehension of illness complexities and a profound impact on individuals' mental and emotional well-being. My own personal journey of recovery from a life-altering injury and lived experience as a mother of 2 boys inspired my pursuit of a career in art and play therapy.
With a specialised focus, I am passionate about my work with neurodiverse children. I help with cultivating resilience, increase confidence, mitigate anxiety, and nurture emotional regulation skills among young and older clients alike, along with their other goals.
I have a great passion in supporting new and expectant mothers as well as care givers in all stages of their journey. I have a deep-seated commitment to assisting women through the transitional phase of motherhood and dedicated to addressing the multifaceted emotional challenges, identity shifts, and self-discovery inherent in this transformative journey.
